A new device for Pokémon GO that brings more safety for trainers is expected soon.
Those who play Pokémon GO either do so directly on their smartphone or use the Pokémon GO Plus device for assistance. The GO Plus can be worn as a bracelet or a clip and connects to the smartphone. With a simple press of a button, wild Pokémon can be caught without trainers having to look at their smartphone.
This device not only makes playing convenient but also gives the player more safety. They don’t have to look at their phone to use the game but are alerted by a vibration that a wild monster can be caught. This allows them to keep their eyes on their environment.
Pokémon GO is set to become safer
In an interview with Nikkei , the president of The Pokemon Company Tsunekazu Ishihara states that player safety has always been an important factor in developing the game. Because the game is played outside and not indoors, considerations were made that players might become too engrossed in the game and not pay attention to their surroundings.
Openly carrying one’s smartphone brings additional disadvantages. A player who was streaming Pokémon GO was a victim of a robbery during the live broadcast.
To avoid certain dangers, the Pokémon GO Plus device was developed. The gadget was initially intended to be released in July but was then postponed to September. In the meantime, some trainers have received the GO Plus and are using it to catch Pokémon or collect rewards from PokéStops.
