How is the new feature being tested in Pokémon GO? The feature is usually tested first with a part of the players in Pokémon GO rather than being immediately released to all trainers. If the test is successfully completed, the feature could be activated worldwide.
So don’t be surprised if you can’t see it yet. When it will be available to everyone is still unclear.
Feed Buddy without AR mode
What advantage does this feature bring? If the new feature is activated worldwide, you will enjoy an easier process when feeding your buddy. With the new feature, you no longer need to switch to AR mode, place your Pokémon, and then feed it; instead, you can do this directly with the press of a button without using the AR mode.
This way, you can save time when feeding your buddy and won’t have any problems if you are at a location where placing the buddy is difficult.
What other features are currently being tested? In addition to the feeding button for the buddy, Pokémon GO is currently testing 3 other features. These are all related to raids or preparing for raids.
The first of the 3 features is a button to shorten the wait time during solo raids. Additionally, for Pokémon you select for a raid, it shows whether the respective moves are effective against the current raid boss or not.
