The battle event in Pokémon GO affects the arenas. Rewards and raid bosses are changing.
In Pokémon GO, the Power Contest event started on the evening of May 1. The event is noticeable because certain “Fighting” type monsters are now spawning more frequently in the wild. Additionally, the opponents in the raids have changed.
New Raid Bosses in Pokémon GO – Changes from the May Event
In the coming days, you will find many fighting monsters in Pokémon GO. The event bonuses provide you with more experience points and more stardust. The focus of the event is on arenas and raids.
New bosses: As trainers noted, the distribution of raid bosses in Pokémon GO has also changed. In recent hours, players gathered their observations and shared which new opponents are now waiting in raids. The opponents in raid levels 2, 3, and 4 have changed. In total, there are 6 new raid bosses that are now awaiting you in the arenas.
Here are the current raid bosses – new ones are highlighted
- Tier 1
- Magikarp, Wailmer, Snivy, Swablu
- Tier 2
- Jungglut, Rasaff, Kokowei, Flunkifer, Zobiris
- Tier 3
- Kapilz, Kicklee, Nockchan, Machoke
- Tier 4
- Quappo, Absol, Stollos, Tyranitar,
- Tier 5
- Latios/Latias (Switching coming soon)
How long will the new bosses stay? The new raid bosses will likely remain in the game until the end of the event. The event runs until May 14.
What other bonuses are active? For arena battles and raids, trainers received double experience points. Additionally, there is a minimum amount of stardust for participating in raids – the stardust is therefore available even if you don’t win.
