What is a Star Piece? A Star Piece is a special item that you can purchase in the in-game shop. This item lasts for 30 minutes after activation and gives you 50 % more Stardust during that time. It is especially worthwhile if you have the opportunity to catch many monsters.
What is the Weather Boost? This is an additional bonus. You receive it when the weather is optimal for the respective monster while catching. For example, Meowth is especially attracted by fog, or Staryu by rain. Whether it has a weather boost, you can see when catching based on the symbol in the upper right corner.
