The Adventure Week returns to Pokémon GO. But this time it gets a villainous twist.
This is happening in Pokémon GO: The first events for August in Pokémon GO have been announced. This includes, for example, Spotlight Hours, Raid Hours, the Community Day with Robball – but also the Adventure Week.
When does the Adventure Week take place? The Adventure Week starts on Friday, August 2, 2024, and runs until Monday, August 12, 2024. It begins at 10:00 AM and ends at 11:59 PM.
The special thing: On August 8, an additional event starts: “Adventure Week: Taken Over,” including a Crypto Raid weekend. Clearly, this is a takeover by Team GO Rocket.
What makes the takeover special? Takeovers are very popular because they usually allow you to forget the move “Frustration”. This way, you can finally teach your Crypto Pokémon useful moves and get some of the best attackers in Pokémon GO. Because Cryptos deal 20% more damage than the normal variants.
Additionally, the Rocket bosses are likely to receive new monsters and new Cryptos will come into the Grunt rotation. So that’s exciting.
This all takes place during Adventure Week. And it has always been very popular.

Adventure Weeks usually focus on Fossil Pokémon. That is also the case this time. You can find the content bonuses here.
All bonuses: You can look forward to additional XP if you are out and about a lot. Because:
