What kind of Mewtwo is this? This is the armored Mewtwo that was already found in the code of Pokémon GO a few weeks ago.
It comes from the latest Pokémon movie, which is now premiering in Japan. Accordingly, this Mewtwo will be released in Pokémon GO.

When does Mewtwo return? On July 10 at 10 PM, when Groudon leaves the raids, Mewtwo returns. It will remain in the raids for the whole month and will disappear on July 31 at 10 PM.
How strong will this Mewtwo be? Not much is known yet about the powers of armored Mewtwo. It may very well have the same stats as regular Mewtwo, just looking different.
However, players suspect that this Mewtwo will be stronger in defense. After all, it is wearing armor and might be able to take more damage. This is not confirmed, though.
Here are better chances for raids: Every Wednesday, when Mewtwo will be available in raids, there will also be a legendary raid hour from 6 PM to 7 PM local time.
During this period, Mewtwo will appear more frequently in raids. At exactly 6 PM, a Mewtwo will show up in every gym where there is no other raid or an EX raid is scheduled.
How can Mewtwo be defeated? If armored Mewtwo has the same type as regular Mewtwo, it will be vulnerable to the types Dark, Ghost, and Bug.
Regular Mewtwo was well defeated with three players. If armored Mewtwo’s defense is better, then you will likely need more players. That remains to be seen.
