The 5th Community Day in Pokémon GO brings you many Charmanders and other rewards that are active during the event time.
Now it is official: After several “leaks” announced the arrival of Charmander for Community Day, developer Niantic has now confirmed this special Pokémon. The rotation of starter Pokémon continues for this event. In March, Bulbasaur was already active as the event monster.
Community Day in May – Start and End
The previous Community Days were well received by trainers around the world. Therefore, many are already looking forward to the event in May, for which Niantic has now released more details.
- Date: The fifth Community Day in Pokémon GO takes place on Saturday, May 19.
- Time: It starts at 11:00 AM and ends at 2:00 PM.
- Pokémon: The special Pokémon on this day is Charmander.
- We will learn which special event attack will be available later from the developers.
- Active Bonuses: 3x Stardust for catching Pokémon
- Incense lasts for 3 hours
It seems that Niantic is taking the fans’ feedback to heart. They requested that there should be a rotation of weekend days. Sunday, just like Saturday, was not suitable for everyone. With the rotation, there should now be a better balance.
These Community Day events take place in Pokémon GO once a month. They aim to help trainers come together and grow the community collectively. During the event, special Pokémon spawn more frequently everywhere – in parks, the chances are even higher.
In the coming weeks, the developers will announce which special attack Charmander (most likely Charizard) can learn during the May event.
The winner of the Community Day in April is Team Mystic. This team caught the most Pokémon per player during the April event.
