When does the Mampfaxo Hatching Day start? The event bonuses apply on Saturday, August 9th from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM local time. So you have a good 6 hours to take advantage of them.
What is the highlight? Unsurprisingly, the event revolves entirely around Mampfaxo. This is the baby Pokémon from Generation 4, which can evolve into Relaxo.
It will hatch more frequently from 2 km eggs that you collect during this period. The most important thing: It has an increased shiny chance. You have a good opportunity to catch shiny Mampfaxo and, through evolution, shiny Relaxo.
But there are also a few other bonuses that you can take advantage of.
How to make the most of the Mampfaxo Day
Another bonus during the event is that the hatching distance for all eggs is reduced by half. This bonus applies from now on! This means that you can currently hatch your egg supply more easily by going for walks.
If you want to have a good chance of shiny Mampfaxo on Saturday, it is advisable to collect as many eggs with the Pokémon as possible. So you should start hatching your egg supply now and then preferably not collect any new eggs until the event begins.
As soon as the Saturday event starts at 11:00, you should ideally have 9 free slots for 2 km eggs that you can collect at PokéStops. This way, you will have more opportunities to hatch Mampfaxo.

Complete the research: During the Hatching Day, you will also receive a free, limited-time research task. From it, you will receive an incubator and 5,000 XP. This is useful because you can use this incubator to hatch more Mampfaxo examples. So complete the task as quickly as possible.
More XP for you: On Saturday, the “Cuddly Buddy” event is also active. This gives you double the amount of XP when hatching eggs. So you can also fill up your XP account while hatching many eggs.
