What are powerful Pokémon? Powerful Pokémon are monsters that appear in evolved forms, rather than their base form. They also possess a much higher level than Pokémon that you can normally catch in the wild and guarantee strong IV values.
Additionally, powerful Pokémon that you catch in the wild have exclusive moves. These moves can otherwise only be obtained through the use of Elite TMs.
Moreover, these Pokémon have an increased chance of being XL or XXL Pokémon. However, powerful Pokémon are also significantly harder to catch, which is why it is advisable to use the Safari Ball for this.
When do powerful Pokémon appear? On Saturday and Sunday, different powerful Pokémon can appear in the wild.
If you’re aiming for these monsters, you should especially keep an eye on the game from 6:00 PM – 6:15 PM. In these last 15 minutes of the event, there is an increased spawn rate for these rare monsters. This applies to both event days.
