In Pokémon GO, the Limited Research “Lovely Wishes” coincides with the Valentine’s Day event 2023. We show you all the content in overview and what the different paths bring.
What kind of research is this? In this research, you can choose a path that either gives you more catching XP, longer duration of the Daily Adventure Incense, or double catching candies.

Stage Reward: If you complete all three tasks and collect the respective rewards, you will also receive 500 Stardust, 500 XP, and 1 Lucky Egg.
Choose a path: After you finish the first chapter, you will need to choose a path.
- The Yellow Path gives you double XP for catching Pokémon
- The Red Path doubles the duration of your daily adventure incense
- The Blue Path gives you double candies for catching Pokémon
- The bonuses last until the end of the event
- Depending on which path you choose, one task and one reward will change in the next chapter – You will receive the corresponding bonus

Stage Reward: If you complete all three tasks and collect the respective rewards, you will also receive an encounter with Swablu (Blue)* and an Incense Module. If you chose the red smoke path, you will also get 25 Ultra Balls.
In this research, you have the opportunity to encounter some Swablu. With a bit of luck, you may even catch your first Shiny of this species that gets activated with the Valentine’s Day event 2023 in Pokémon GO.
