The Community Day in Pokémon GO could be chosen again for November. A leak from the spring had correctly predicted the past events.
This is what happened: In March 2020, data miners found information about upcoming Community Days in the game files. Although the leak was off by the months, the Pokémon matched so far.
While we can already expect the Community Day with Charmander for October, there is no event known for November yet. If we believe the leak, we should soon be voting again.
Leak says: We can choose the Community Day ourselves
This is what the leak suggests: The data miners have accurately predicted the following so far:
- A vote between Gastly, Sandshrew, Squirtle, and Caterpie (Gastly and Caterpie won the vote back then)
- A vote between Weedle, Charmander, Grimer, and Porygon (Porygon and Charmander won the vote back then)
According to the data miners, a third vote is still ahead. It should revolve around the following Pokémon:
- Bulbasaur
- Timepole
- Magikarp
- Staravia
Could the leak be true? Magikarp probably won’t be up for voting anymore. After all, the Pokémon had already had a Community Day in August, which took place without a vote beforehand.
The other 3 Pokémon would fit well into the concept. With Bulbasaur, there is again a starter involved, Timepole is a rather rare Pokémon that can already be shiny and Staravia would be a brand new shiny.
However, it’s important to keep in mind that the last votes have always been used for 2 Community Days. The 2 Pokémon with the most votes received a Community Day. While there would still be room for such a Community Day in November, generally a special Community Day takes place in December, highlighting all Pokémon from the year.
The vote, if it were to happen, would probably only refer to the Community Day in November.
Things to consider: Of course, this is just a leak – nothing is officially confirmed. However, the previous votes indicate that there might be some truth to it.
Aside from Magikarp, it’s worth remembering the 3 Pokémon. We may have to vote for one of the 3 monsters soon.
Before the Community Day in November, however, the Halloween event is still running and it could become the big highlight in 2020.
