Is this the monster for the 3rd Community Day at Pokémon GO in March 2018? A supposed leak is making the rounds.
Last Saturday, many trainers went outside and began long Pokémon GO sessions. The reason for this was the 2nd Community Day in Pokémon GO, which attracted special Dratini. These appeared particularly often – the evolution “Dragonite” could even learn a special move.
Shortly after the event, a leak was already circulating online. It is said to reveal which Pokémon will be featured for the 3rd Community Day.
Plant Power on the 3rd Community Day in March?
Currently, a picture of the supposed Pokémon for the 3rd Community Day is frequently appearing on social networks. Here, a starter Pokémon is shown that is supposedly supposed to take center stage during the March event.
After Pikachu at the 1st Com. Day and Dratini at the 2nd Com. Day, Bulbasaur is planned for the 3rd Community Day. However, this information does not come from the developers but from the community. On Reddit, user helloburkie posted the following image:
When players asked how he found this image, he explained: By right-clicking on the Dratini image on the Community Day webpage, he could see the URL of the image with the dragon. In the URL, he replaced the name “Dratini” with other Pokémon and thus found Bulbasaur’s image. However, that has since been deleted from the server and can no longer be found using this method.
Whether this explanation is true or if the shown leak is a Photoshop job is currently difficult to determine. After all, the same background was used for the 1st Community Day.
However, we remind you that you should always take leaks with a grain of caution.
As long as Niantic has not officially announced that Bulbasaur is the special Pokémon for the 3rd Community Day in March, everything is just speculation. Keep this in mind when other trainers try to convince you that the image is “real”.
