A leak shows that the release of Deoxys and Castform in Pokémon GO is being worked on.
An update for Pokémon GO is said to include forms of extraordinary monsters that have not yet been released in the game. Additionally, there will soon be a Shiny filter for the PokéDex. At least that’s what the leak from a well-known dataminer says.
Deoxys and Castform coming soon to Pokémon GO?
In datamining, data from Pokémon GO is closely examined and checked for changes. A well-known dataminer goes by the name Chrales and is associated with the PoGoDev group, which deals with content from Pokémon GO. In the past, he has correctly predicted many changes. Now he has shared more news with the members of the TheSilphRoad subreddit.
According to his analysis of the Pokémon GO network traffic, the game is loading the following information from Niantic’s servers:
- The names of Deoxys’s various forms
- “form_defense” “Defense
- “form_attack” “Attack”
- “form_speed” “Speed”
- “form_deoxys_normal” “Normal”
- “form_normal” “Normal”
- “form_sun” “Sunny”
- “form_rain” “Rainy”
- “form_snow” “Snowy”
There are also hints that a new Shiny filter will make sorting Pokémon easier. This works by entering the word “Shiny” as your search. Similar to when you search for specific Pokémon. New text messages will also be added for unsupported devices, for example.
As Chrales explains, a new update is needed for the mentioned changes. However, there are no indications of when this will be released.
Keep in mind that this does not represent official information from Niantic. The developers have not announced these two new Pokémon. The information shown comes from a leak and may not occur in the near future.
Many trainers are already looking forward to Deoxys because it’s one of the special monsters due to its changeable forms. Whether trainers can change the forms of the monster themselves and without much effort remains questionable.
Castform fits perfectly with its various weather forms into the new weather conditions of Pokémon GO.
