A “real” PokéBall that is supposed to make catching easier in Pokémon GO is being funded on Kickstarter.
Since the release of Pokémon GO a few weeks ago, more and more creative ideas have emerged to improve the gaming experience. With a mobile Pokémon Center, you can charge multiple smartphones simultaneously on the go. There is also now a sensible use for the many Taubsis that you can catch in Pokémon GO. With a PokéBall that is currently being funded on Kickstarter, you should have more fun catching Pokémon in the future.
The PokéBall even charges your battery
As you can learn from the Kickstarter campaign for the PokéBall, you can charge your smartphone 2 to 3 times with the ball. The best part is that you can actually catch Pokémon by throwing the ball. This works because the ball is a Kinetic-Controller that has an acceleration sensor built in. It also transmits the direction in which the ball is thrown via Bluetooth. With this information, the game can be informed about where a PokéBall was thrown to catch a Pokémon in the mobile app.
The ball functions like a Bluetooth controller, but you don’t necessarily have to throw it. It’s enough to make a throwing motion to let your smartphone know that the ball has been thrown. The manufacturers of this cool gadget are currently in talks with Niantic and Nintendo to officially license this PokéBall. We should be excited to see if this idea takes off.
