For the Johto Tour in Pokémon GO, there is the silver and gold edition. Which one should you choose? We show you which shinies await you behind it.
What you need to know: On February 26, 2022, the big Johto Tour in Pokémon GO will take place. If you buy a ticket, you have to decide whether to play the golden or the silver edition of this event. The main differences are the Pokémon attracted by incense and which Pokémon have increased shiny chances.
Here we provide an overview of the different shiny chances of the golden and silver Johto edition. This way, you can easily decide which is the better choice.
Golden Edition of the Johto Tour – Shinies and Spawns
Spawns through incense: If you light an incense for the event and use the golden edition, the following Pokémon can appear:
- Webarak
- Skorgla
- Teddiursa
- Mantax
All of these Pokémon can also be found as shiny. In the following graphic, we show you the Pokémon and their shinies.
Increased chance for shinies: You can catch the following Pokémon as shiny forms with some luck. The chances are increased for the selected Pokémon with the golden edition.
