In Pokémon GO a new event has been announced. It brings not only new monsters and an increased shiny chance, but also another interesting content.
What kind of event is this? The event is called “Enchanted Hollow”. It starts on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 at 10:00 AM and runs until Sunday, November 9, 2025 at 8:00 PM.
Which monsters are making their debut? In the event, you can obtain Tarountula and its evolution, Spidops, for the first time in Pokémon GO. The monsters are from the 9th generation and are Bug type.
How can I get the new monsters? You can find Tarountula in the event through Moss Lure Modules, in 1-star raids, in a collector challenge, and with a bit of luck, in the wild. To evolve Spidops, you need one Tarountula and 50 candies of the monster.
Monsters, Shinies and a Stop
Which monsters have an increased Shiny chance? Within the event, you can encounter Paras and Damhirplex as Shinies with an increased chance. Both monsters can be found in the wild, through Moss Lure Modules, in 1-star raids, and in field research.
What bonuses are there in the event? In addition to the increased Shiny chance for Paras and Stantler, there are also the following bonuses in the event:
- double experience points for spinning PokéStops
- double duration for lure modules
- collector challenges
- Event PokéStops that you find by following a glow
What exactly the event PokéStops are about is not yet known. There is also no information yet on what kind of glow leads you to them.
