In Pokémon GO there is an event coming up in Germany in a few days. In Erfurt for the MAG, Pokémon will appear more frequently, and Lure Modules will last longer.
What kind of event is this? At the beginning of October 2019, the MAG is taking place again in Erfurt. The MAG is a community convention that brings together many people from the fields of gaming, cosplay, fashion, art, creators, and Japan.
From October 4 to October 6, the convention will be held this year in over 16,000 square meters at the Messe Erfurt. According to the organizers, you can expect guests of honor, artists, workshops, panels, autograph sessions, exhibitors, and more.
As in last year, there will be a collaboration with Pokémon GO in 2019 again. So visiting this event can be doubly rewarding for you.
What bonuses are known for 2019? On-site at the MAG Erfurt, there will be increased spawns of certain species, which are Piplup, Chimchar, and Turtwig. The starter Pokémon from Generation 4 in Pokémon.
In addition, there is a bonus that many already know from Community Days: Extended Lure Modules. They will last a full four hours at the event. Also, there are generally supposed to be more Pokémon found at the fair.
What happened last year? In October 2018, the fair also brought rare Eevee encounters to Erfurt. There you could catch the forms M, A, G, and !. For players, this was certainly a reason to visit this event or to stay close to the fair.
Whether these species will surpriseingly visit the fair this year is still uncertain.

Who should visit? Gaming fans who want to know more about games, cosplay, and more, or simply enjoy engaging with the topic, can likely have a lot of experiences at the fair.
For Pokémon trainers who are after rare Pokémon, there are currently no strong arguments. The starters from Generation 4 are likely less exciting for most players. If the announcement expands to include other Pokémon, the event would be much more interesting for trainers.
However, anyone who could not catch a Shiny Turtwig during Community Day can try their luck again at this event.
