When does it start? The spotlight hour starts again at 6 PM local time. For one hour you can take advantage of the special bonus and the numerous Magnemite.
What does the event have to offer? In addition to the many Magnemite, there is also a bonus that is active again. You can earn double candies when catching.
Keep in mind that the Easter event is currently also running. So you can also receive double candies when hatching and lucky eggs last for one hour.
Is Magnemite worth it? The Pokémon of the Electric and Steel types is definitely useful. It can be Shiny, and if you don’t have enough shiny specimens yet, you should look for more.
Additionally, Magnezone, the evolution of Magnemite, is a solid Electric attacker. So if you don’t have a good team with this type yet, you should focus on a few Magnezone.
You shouldn’t miss the event, as after the last spotlight hour with Felilou, you finally have a useful Pokémon again.
Players report: First trainers in New Zealand and Australia are already able to participate in the spotlight hour. They report on reddit that the spawns of Magnemite are catastrophic and so far hardly any specimens have been caught.
