In Pokémon GO, the story continues around Professor Willow and Team GO Rocket. For the first time, the Professor meets a Rocket Boss but is quite scared.
This is the story: In recent days, there have been repeated new reports from Professor Willow. The Professor has built a prototype for a Rocket Radar and is diligently testing it.
In the latest entry, Willow reports on an encounter with the Rocket Boss Cliff. There are some small details that can be gathered from the text.
Rocket Boss Cliff seems to be strong
This is Willow’s story: The Professor reports that he was searching for hideouts of Team GO Rocket together with Blanche, the leader of Team Wisdom.
During this, they encountered Cliff, one of the bosses of Team GO Rocket, who asked them to leave. Blanche and Professor Willow followed this request because both were too afraid to fight. Blanche was said to have stood there as if frozen in ice.
What does the story mean for us? There isn’t much new information. It is now known that Cliff is a Rocket Boss and is referred to as such.
It is certain that Sierra and Arlo will also appear.
Niantic portrays the bosses as particularly dangerous, while the Rocket grunts at the PokéStops were not presented as threatening. This gives hope that the Rocket bosses could indeed pose a challenge and be harder to defeat.
How could it proceed now? Players on reddit already suspect that this is not the last announcement. It is likely that Arlo and Sierra will also appear, and Professor Willow will be with the other two team leaders.
So far, there has been such an entry from the Professor every 2 days. If there are announcements on 28th and 30th October, then it could be that the new feature will come into the game soon. This would also coincide with the end of the Halloween event.
