In Pokémon GO a new event has been announced. In addition to a Pokémon debut, there are also strong bonuses.
What kind of event is this? The event “Profound Depths” has been announced for Pokémon GO. It starts on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at 10:00 AM and runs until Monday, March 24, 2025, at 8:00 PM.
While the event has a certain focus on hatching eggs, you can also obtain a brand new monster, benefit from an increased shiny chance of another monster, and receive additional bonuses through research.
Profound Depths – All Contents of the Event
Which Pokémon is making its debut? The event brings the fox Pokémon Kleptifux into the game for the first time. The monster is of the Dark type, has existed since the 8th generation, and can evolve into Gaunux.
You can obtain Kleptifux in the event by hatching 7 km eggs and also, with some luck, find it in the wild.
What bonuses are there in the event? The following bonuses are active during the event:
- halved distance to hatch eggs if you place them in incubators during the event
- increased chance to obtain a shiny Scampisto
- double amount of stardust when catching Pokémon (if you completed the limited research during the event)
What Pokémon are available in the event? Various monsters await you in the event, in eggs and in the wild.
In the wild:
- Kramurx*
- Sniebel*
- Krebscorps*
- Perlu*
- Felilou*
- Quabbel (female)*
- Scampisto*
- Kleptifux (rare)
In 7 km eggs:
- Galar-Corasonn*
- Gladiantri*
- Scampisto*
- Kleptifux
All Pokémon marked with a * can also be obtained as shiny. The chance for Scampisto is increased both in the wild and in eggs.
What is the limited research? A free limited research awaits you in the event. If you complete this during the event, you will receive a double catch stardust bonus until the end of the event. Additionally, the following rewards await you in the research:
- 10 Dakuma candies
- one mysterious piece
- encounters with event Pokémon
Paid limited research: For $2 (about €2), you can also purchase additional limited research. Here you will receive 2 super incubators, a star piece, and additional encounters with Scampisto and Kleptifux.
More contents of the event: In the event, there will also be various field researches where you will be rewarded with event Pokémon. Additionally, there will be collector challenges and PokéStop showcases waiting for you.
