In Pokémon GO you can now trade Pokémon over longer distances again. However, this change is only temporary, and you should take advantage of it.
This is what happened: Last night, on November 18, trainers suddenly reported that they could trade Pokémon over distance again. Shortly thereafter, Niantic made it official as well.
This is already the second event with the increased trading range. Just a few days ago, you could temporarily trade the popular monsters over several kilometers.

How long will this change last? According to Niantic, you can trade Pokémon over distance until November 24 at 1:00 AM. So you need to hurry and trade diligently.
What is the maximum distance allowed? Last time it was about 12 to 15 kilometers. However, now the limit is said to be 40 to 50 kilometers. At least that is what trainers on reddit claim.
This means that you can now easily conduct trades across the whole city, and even trainers in the surrounding villages can benefit.
Why is this feature so important? Currently, Germany is in a “light lockdown,” and many other countries have also imposed restrictions on going out.
It makes sense that Niantic is making trading easier, as you no longer have to go out and meet up to trade monsters.
This is what you should do: Especially lucky trades should be conducted during this time. Coordinate with your fellow players and diligently trade lucky Pokémon with each other.
