In April 2024, a Community Day featuring the plant Pokémon Knofensa is expecting you in Pokémon GO. We at MeinMMO will show you all the content and which date you should mark in your calendar for this.
What event is this about? Every month, Pokémon GO hosts a Community Day, where a previously determined monster takes center stage. The shiny chance for this Pokémon is also increased. Various bonuses round off the event.
There will also be such a Community Day in April. After some first hints in a short clip about the C-Day Pokémon a few days ago, the speculations have now been confirmed. You will encounter the plant and poison Pokémon Knofensa. We have summarized the accompanying bonuses for you below.
When does the C-Day take place in April? The Community Day with Knofensa will run on April 20, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
All Bonuses for the Community Day with Knofensa
What bonuses are there? For the Community Day with Knofensa, you can look forward to numerous spawns of the plant and poison Pokémon, as well as a few bonuses. As you may know from other Community Days, most of these bonuses will be active again from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. However, there will also be certain content that you can use beyond the event.
The following bonuses await you for the C-Day with Knofensa:
- 3x Stardust when catching Pokémon
- 2x Candies when catching Pokémon
- double chance for XL Candies when catching Pokémon (from Trainer Level 31)
- Incense and Lure Modules last 3 hours (except Adventure Incense)
- up to 5 encounters with Knofensa through snapshots
- Event Field Research
- Rewards: Stardust, Ultra Balls, and encounters with Knofensa
- Event stickers with Knofensa at PokéStops and from gifts
- Showcases with Knofensa at selected PokéStops
These bonuses are active until 10:00 PM:
- one additional special trade (up to 2 per day)
- half Stardust costs when trading
Exclusive event move: In addition to various bonuses, you can give Ultrigaria, the first evolution of Knofensa, the exclusive event move Leaf Tornado
during the Community Day. To do this, you must evolve Knofensa during the event or up to 5 hours afterwards. Ultrigaria will cause the following damage with this move:
- 10 damage in Trainer battles
- 16 damage in Gym and Raid battles
Is there Shiny Knofensa? Yes, Knofensa has been available as Shiny in Pokémon GO for some time. However, during the Community Day, the chance will be increased again. So it’s a good opportunity to secure a shiny specimen.
More Bonuses for the Community Day
Contents in the shop: Those who want to get even more out of the Community Day can purchase additional content in the in-game shop or on the Pokémon GO webshop. The following can be found there:
- Ticket for a special research task for the Community Day with Knofensa for about 1 Euro in the in-game shop
- Community Day Hyper Box for about 5 Euros in the webshop
- 10x Ultra Balls
- 1x Charged TM
- 1x Ticket for the special research
- Event stickers with Knofensa in the in-game shop
Special Raids: If you are not yet done with the plant and poison Pokémon after the actual Community Day with Knofensa, you can participate in special Level 4 Raids against its first evolution Ultrigaria from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
If you defeat these, you will receive additional Knofensa spawns around the corresponding Gym for 30 minutes. The shiny chance will be the same as during the C-Day itself. Keep in mind that these Raids can only be played on-site. Participation via Remote Raid is not possible.
