In Pokémon GO started the event with Xerneas “Illuminating Legends X”. It brings a new limited research and other Pokémon in the current raids. We show you all the changes.
What is new? On May 4th at 10:00 AM, the event “Illuminating Legends X” started, bringing Xerneas and new Pokémon from Generation 6 into the game.
In the overview, we show you the new limited research that rewards you with a rainy lure module and also, which raid bosses you now encounter.
Limited Research on Illuminating Legends X
For the research, you need to send gifts, battle Team GO Rocket, and catch Fairy-type Pokémon. Additionally, a battle against Giovanni is planned. You have until May 17, 2021, at 8:00 PM to complete the research.
The research is divided into 7 chapters.

Keep in mind that since May 1st, you receive a Shadow Articuno as a reward for defeating Giovanni.

Stage Reward: If you complete all the steps at this stage, you will receive 5,000 Stardust and the new rainy lure module.
If you use the rainy lure module at a PokéStop, it attracts Pokémon that like water. These are Water, Bug, or Electric-type Pokémon. The rainy lure module also helps you evolve Viscargot to Viscogon.
