In Pokémon GO, Knarbon made its debut at the Horizon event. That is now over. How can you get it now?
What is happening in Pokémon GO? The Horizon event has just ended. This event ran until March 11 at 8:00 PM and brought as one of its highlights the debut of Knarbon. However, you could only obtain Knarbon in one way: by hatching eggs.
During the event, you had the chance to hatch a Knarbon from three egg categories. It was included in the 2-km, 5-km, and 10-km eggs. But with the end of the event, that’s also over.
How can you get Knarbon now?
How to Obtain Knarbon from Now On in Pokémon GO
Where you can find Knarbon: Knarbon is still in eggs, but no longer in the 2-km and 5-km variants. You can therefore only find Knarbon in the 10-km eggs. The special 7-km and 12-km eggs remain irrelevant for Knarbon for now.
However, there is also a change regarding the 10-km eggs and Knarbon: As trainers in the Pokémon GO community “TheSilphRoad” report on reddit, Knarbon has moved up one rarity tier within the 10-km eggs.
What does that mean for me? If you want to obtain a Knarbon, you will need a lot of luck and probably also patience. You should plan for long walks, as you will have to walk a lot.
- First, you have to get 10-km eggs from stops or gyms, which is random.
- For this, you also need free slots in the egg storage. If it is full, you will first have to hatch eggs with shorter km distances to free up space. You cannot simply delete eggs.
- Then you have to hatch the 10-km eggs and hope that a Knarbon hatches. The probability of getting a Knarbon has decreased compared to the Horizon event.
Is there any other way? Only to a limited extent: You can get Knarbon through trades with friends who have extra copies. Given the previous rarity of the monster, this might be difficult. Additionally, it would be a “special trade” since you do not yet have Knarbon in your collection. This means that the trade costs are higher. Furthermore, you can only perform one special trade per day, so you should plan for that.
What kind of monster is Knarbon? Knarbon is a Fire-type Pokémon of the 9th generation that has two potential evolutions: Azugladis and Crimanzo.
