When we at MeinMMO tested the system, the Sinnoh Stone was available after every battle. Sometimes even two at once. This was just the test version and not comparable to what awaits us, but it seems that Niantic is not stingy with the stone.

What other rewards are there? In the test version, there was also stardust as a reward. Not exactly little of it either. So what’s better than evolving your Pokémon with the Sinnoh Stone and then strengthening them right away? There were no other rewards. Whether these will be added with the release of the battles remains to be seen.
