For this, you should use Star Pieces for the entire 3 hours. So have 6 Star Pieces in your inventory. This way, you will get 4.5 times the amount of Stardust per Pokémon.

Take advantage of this event: During Community Day, the Friendship Weekend is also ongoing. There, you can level up faster with friends and open more gifts.

This is quite interesting since there are currently Fossil Pokémon in the 7 km Eggs. If you still need these, you can hatch some Fossil Pokémon during Community Day.

Choose a good location: Your hometown may not be the best place to play a Community Day. So look for a place with many PokéStops and spawn points to take advantage of the event.

Secure the guaranteed Sinnoh Stones: On Community Day, you can also get Sinnoh Stones for sure. This is great because Rhyperior can only evolve if you also use a Sinnoh Stone.
