How to catch Tragosso in Pokémon GO

This is how you encounter Tragosso in the wild: As a normal spawn, Tragosso hardly appears anymore. If you have sunny weather in the game, then you have better luck. The spawns of the Pokémon are increased then. Additionally, Tragosso is a popular nest Pokémon. So go to your local parks to check the nests. Maybe there is a Tragosso nest.
Tragosso through raids: Tragosso itself is not available as a raid boss. However, the Alolan form of Knogga, the evolution of Tragosso, is. If you catch Alolan Knogga in raids, you can successfully complete the quest “Catch a Tragosso” as Knogga also counts for this quest. This is also confirmed by several players on Reddit.
What could help further? In the past, Niantic has regularly held events to help players complete their special research. Often, Magikarp is featured as an event Pokémon in various events, so that players can complete their Gyarados for the Mew quest.
