How long will the Origin Forme of Giratina be available? You have 2 weeks for this legendary Pokémon. It will remain in level-5 raids until October 23. After that, it will make room for a special raid boss for Halloween.
To ensure you have no difficulties during the raid, we will show you how to defeat the boss with just three players. You only need to be at level 25.
Defeating Giratina easily with three players
Use these counters: Giratina is of the Ghost and Dragon types. It is vulnerable to the types Dragon, Ice, Fairy, Ghost, and Dark. It has many weaknesses that you should exploit.
Use these aids: The trio against Giratina is already easy to handle. However, to ensure you have no issues, you should aim for a high friendship level. This will strengthen you in battle.
The same goes for the weather bonus. If you battle with Pokémon that are currently strengthened by the weather, it will also provide an additional bonus.
However, in our calculations, we have only considered the friendship level. This is not as important, as Giratina can also be defeated without this bonus.
Defeating Giratina at level 25 – Here’s how
Meet these requirements: Even at this low level, you can defeat Giratina quite easily with three players. If you have a good friendship level among yourselves, you should have no trouble. But even if you are not friends, it works.
Use these Pokémon: If you are best friends, you can bring a total of 15 Pokémon at level 25 to defeat the Origin Forme of Giratina. But make sure to use the right moves:

Why is there already so much choice? Giratina is vulnerable to a total of 5 types. Additionally, the effective types have very strong Pokémon among them. This is why you can choose from 15 Pokémon at level 25 to defeat the Origin Forme of Giratina in a trio.
Defeating Giratina at level 30 – Here’s how
Meet these requirements: At this level, Giratina can be defeated almost effortlessly in a trio. Without a friendship level, you have enough time with the best counters, and if you even have that bonus, you will get through the raid even faster.

Defeating Giratina at level 35 and 40 – Here’s how
What you should know here: If you have Pokémon at level 35 or higher, you should generally have no problem with the trio. You have plenty of Pokémon to choose from that are effective and sufficient for the trio.
We will therefore refrain from providing another list of Pokémon, as you can likely find every usable Pokémon of the types Fairy, Dragon, Dark, and Ice listed above. Ghost-type Pokémon are less represented since Giratina itself is effective against ghost monsters. You would lose them quickly.
Are Giratina raids worth it? Definitely! The Origin Forme of Giratina is the best attacker of the Ghost type and should not be missing from any team.
Additionally, you can catch it for the first time as a Shiny within the 2 weeks. For every Shiny hunter, Giratina will therefore be interesting.
