In Pokémon GO, the Adventure Week is currently running, and every player who has not yet completed the Meltan quest now has the best chances again. We will tell you why.
That was the problem with the Meltan quest: Anyone who has not completed the Meltan quest has faced many problems in recent weeks.
Various Pokémon needed for the quest were simply hard to find. Outside of an event, they are incredibly rare.
However, there is now an Adventure Week event that provides you with many Pokémon needed for this special research.
Here’s how you can easily complete the Meltan special research
Most players are likely currently stuck at stage 8 of the Meltan quest. Here, you need to catch Pokémon that are of the Rock type and are not found on every corner. The tasks there are as follows:
- Catch two Kabuto or Amonitas
- Catch two Liliep or Anorith
- Catch one Aerodactyl
During the Adventure Week, all 5 sought-after Pokémon can be found more frequently. So you should have no problems if you still need to complete one of these tasks.
Here’s how to find Kabuto or Amonitas: These two fossil Pokémon are currently very common in the wild. If you haven’t had luck there, you can also try in raids or with 2 km eggs. The Pokémon can also be found in those.
Here’s how to find Anorith or Liliep: These two Pokémon were introduced as shinies with the event. You can currently find them on almost every corner. Here, you should really have no problems. They can also be found in eggs and in raids.
The current quests for Adventure Week also include Anorith and Liliep.
Here’s how to find Aerodactyl: Here, you might still have the biggest problems, but Aerodactyl is also quite easy to get. On the one hand, the Pokémon appears somewhat more frequently in the wild, on the other hand, Aerodactyl is a Level 3 raid.
If you complete the quest “Catch 5 Kabuto or Amonitas,” you will also receive an Aerodactyl.
What about the other Pokémon? In addition to the Pokémon mentioned above, some players also have problems catching Ditto, Owei, Tragosso, and Magnetilo.
Here are some tips for you:
- You can find Owei in the quest “Hatch an egg” (but you could also encounter Spoink)
- Ditto can be found in many common Pokémon. Here you will find the current Ditto list
- Magnetilo is often attracted by the new Magnet Module, so you will surely find it there
- Tragosso is currently difficult to find, but complete Alolan Marowak raids, as Marowak also counts towards the quest as Tragosso
