This is the Community Day: Next Saturday, June 20th, the Community Day with Hornliu starts. During the event, you will receive three times the Stardust over the course of 6 hours.
We will show you how much Stardust is possible for you during that time and how you can easily collect a lot of dust.
Collecting Stardust on Community Day
Here are the calculations: On reddit, a trainer has made some estimates regarding playing the Community Day from home.
Therefore, the item Incense was included in the calculation, which usually attracts 90 Pokémon per hour during Community Days. If you only catch these monsters, you’ll get a lot of Stardust:
- If you catch every Pokémon from the incense for 3 hours, you get 81,000 Stardust (with 6 Stardust Pieces even 121,500 Stardust)
- If you catch every Pokémon from the incense for 6 hours, you get 162,000 Stardust (with 12 Stardust Pieces even 243,000 Stardust)
So you can earn nearly 250,000 Stardust without leaving your home. This calculation only takes into account the Pokémon from the incense. If you have some spawns at home, this amount will, of course, increase.
Here is how much dust you can earn while on the go: You need to differentiate where you play and how many Pokémon you can catch while on the go. However, you should be able to catch 150 Pokémon per hour if you use incense.
If you play in a place with many spawns and also use the catching trick, then catching 200 Pokémon per hour is also not a big problem:
- 150 Pokémon per hour over the entire 6 hours gives a total of 270,000 Stardust (with 12 Stardust Pieces that’s even 405,000 Stardust)
- 200 Pokémon per hour over the entire 6 hours gives a total of 360,000 Stardust (with 12 Stardust Pieces that’s even 540,000 Stardust)
What does this mean for you? On Community Day, you can easily earn over half a million Stardust. Such opportunities don’t come often in Pokémon GO, so you should definitely take advantage of them.
The Stardust Pieces are most worthwhile during such events. So save the item until Community Day and use it only then.
How to collect a lot of Stardust? The easiest way to get a lot of Stardust is to catch Pokémon. The tip sounds simple, and it is. Every Pokémon on Community Day brings at least 300 Stardust. So catch every monster that appears on your screen.
It’s best to use the catching trick for this, as it allows you to catch Pokémon significantly faster and ultimately catch more monsters.
Visit places where many Pokémon spawn and try not to play in your village where there are few. Always use incense as well, as it is particularly effective on Community Day. Simply because of this, you get 90 Pokémon per hour – whether in the countryside or in the city.
