In the coming weeks, a lot is happening in Pokémon GO. We have taken a look at which events are expected in February and which are particularly worth it.
In Pokémon GO recently the first Community Day Classic took place, featuring Bulbasaur. Now we at MeinMMO want to know from you how you found this event and how often the C-Day Classic should take place according to you.
What kind of event is it? Every month, a special event takes place in Pokémon GO for the trainers, focusing on a specific Pokémon: the Community Day. In January 2022, there was for the first time a second one of these events, the so-called Community Day Classic with Bulbasaur.
In the context of the Season of Origins, this event should, according to Niantic, reflect back on the roots of Community Days (via pokemongolive.com).
What did you think of the C-Day Classic and how often should it take place?
Now that the first “C-Day Classic” event is over, many trainers are wondering whether there will be more such events in Pokémon GO (via reddit.com). The reason for this is the hope for Pokémon from the first Community Days like Larvitar. Additionally, some trainers are pleased that a way has been found to prevent the C-Days from constantly repeating for longtime players.
Since there is still no concrete information from Niantic regarding whether there will be further Community Day Classics and if so, how often they will take place, we would like to know your opinion on this topic.
Feel free to write to us in the comments about how you found the first Community Day Classic. And be sure to participate in our following survey and let us know how often similar “C-Day Classic” events should take place in the future?
This was the first Community Day Classic with Bulbasaur
As Niantic stated in their event announcement, they want to reflect back on the roots of C-Days during the Community Day Classic. One of the first monsters in Community Days was Bulbasaur, which is why it is no surprise that the Community Day Classic highlighted it first. Thus, the first “C-Day Classic” event in Pokémon GO took place on January 22, 2022, featuring Bulbasaur.
As you are used to from the normal Community Days, you could find Bulbasaur at almost every corner during the event. Additionally, you could enjoy one or the other bonus.
So, the C-Day Classic gave you an XP bonus when catching, longer duration for incense and lures, as well as the event attack Flora Statue if you evolved Bulbasaur into Venasaur within 2 hours after the event. Of course, you could also purchase the usual ticket with a special research.
