From now on, you can encounter Hisui variants of Baldorfish and Sniebel in Pokémon GO. You can also evolve both – but it’s not that simple.
How can you evolve Hisui-Baldorfish? Hisui-Baldorfish has a special rule regarding evolution.
You need to equip Hisui-Baldorfish as a buddy and then win 10 raids to be able to evolve the Pokémon. Additionally, you will need 50 candies to complete the evolution once you have met the requirements.
The good thing is that Baldorfish is easily found in the wild during the new Hisui discoveries event. So it should not be a problem to get the necessary candies.
This is the evolution: Hisui-Baldorfish evolves into Myriador, which is also of the Dark and Poison type.
Use the Raid Day to evolve Hisui-Baldorfish
When is the Raid Day? On July 31, 2022, there will be a Raid Day with Hisui-Washakwil from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. On this date, not only will you get the daily raid pass, but also five additional free raid passes when you spin gym disks.
This is the perfect opportunity to collect the necessary raid completions for Hisui-Baldorfish.
How to evolve Hisui-Sniebel in Pokémon GO?
This is how you can evolve Hisui-Sniebel: Hisui-Sniebel is the second monster in the new event that appears with a special rule.
The task here is a bit easier: Equip Hisui-Sniebel as a buddy and walk 7 kilometers with it. Once you have done this, you will need 100 candies to complete the evolution.
The problem is rather getting Hisui-Sniebel. Unlike Baldorfish, you will not find it in the wild, but only in the 7km eggs you collect during the event.
This is the evolution: Hisui-Sniebel evolves into Snieboss instead of Snibunna.
And what about Fukano? Fukano is also available in its new Hisui form during the event. However, you don’t need a special method to unlock its evolution Arcanine. You just need 50 candies to complete the evolution.
