Trainers, get ready for big news. In the network traffic of Pokémon GO, new legendary Pokémon have been found: Regice, Registeel, and Regirock.
What’s new? Data miner Chrales held a livestream on Wednesday evening and showed that now three new legendary monsters can be found in the network traffic of Pokémon GO.
Which monsters are those? These are Regice, Regirock, and Registeel! This trio has often been discussed among Pokémon GO fans.
Release of the Regi trio still unknown!
Screenshots of Regice, Regirock, and Registeel: In the stream, Chrales showed these special Pokémon with screenshots. In the following gallery, you can see the three monsters:
When will they be released? Trainers now assume that these 3 monsters will spawn as raid bosses after Kyogre. But this has not been officially confirmed by Niantic, it is only a speculation from the community. When the three will be released in the game will be officially announced by the developers.
How strong are the monsters of the Regi trio? We have already introduced you to Regirock, Regice, and Registeel. Currently, they do not count as good attackers in raids but are more suitable as defenders. Since legendary monsters cannot be used as defenders in gyms, the trio should probably first be collected to complete the PokéDex.
Niantic might change something: It is very possible that Niantic will adjust the values of the trio before the release and strengthen the monsters. Then they might become more useful as attackers in raids. Perhaps the developers will eventually allow trainers to place legendary monsters in gyms – Then you would have strong defenders.
Trainers already suspected that this legendary trio relates to the upcoming events in summer. The Ultra Bonus of the summer tour could be Celebi or maybe even Regigigas.
