The end of November belongs to Peppeck! The little bird, known as the “Woodpecker Pokémon,” will have its own Community Day on Sunday, November 30th.
The Normal-Flying Pokémon has two evolutions: Trompeck and Tukanon. It retains its type distribution.

When? Sunday, November 30, 2025 – from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Exclusive Attack: Charged Attack
Beak Cannonfor Tukanon if you evolve it during the event or up to four hours afterward
Bonuses:
– Increased Shiny chance for Peppeck
– Triple catch XP
– Double catch candy
– Double chance for XL candies when catching Pokémon from level 31
– Lure modules and incense last for 3 hours (not the daily adventure incense)
– Snapshot surprises with Peppeck
– Field research with Peppeck
Bonuses until 10:00 PM local time:
– One additional special trade
– 50% less Stardust cost when trading
A special bonus: If you attach a normal lure module to a stop, it will also attract additional Peppeck between 2:00 PM and 9:00 PM. These also have an increased Shiny chance and may have a special background. This way, you can also take advantage of the Community Day if you don’t have time between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM.

Who should participate in the Community Day with Peppeck?
Can Peppeck be Shiny? Yes, with an increased chance, and the Tukanon Shiny is also quite striking. Shiny hunters can use the Community Day well for a specimen in the Shiny Dex.
Is Peppeck strong? No, and neither are its evolutions. Neither in gyms and raids nor in the PvP league are Peppeck, Trompeck, or Tukanon viable attackers.
Is the bonus worth it? You can earn a lot of XP and candy, which can help you on your way to level 70 or even 80. Important with the candies: This weekend also features the Dynamax Weekend with Lugia. The bonuses also apply here, so you can earn extra candies from Dynamax battles.
How to prepare
If you want to catch many Peppeck on Community Day, you should prepare with the following points.
- Clear out your Pokémon box to make space. Use the sorting function for that.
- Prepare items. Best to have plenty of balls, Sananabeeren for more candy, as well as lure modules and incense to attract.
- Use Mega Pokémon: An active Mega Pokémon gives you extra candies and XP when catching monsters of the same types. Suitable ones are:
