New raid bosses in Pokémon GO have been available since April 29. We show you what has changed and why you need to be particularly careful with Machoke now.
What’s new? Shortly after the launch of remote raids in Pokémon GO, Niantic rotated the raid bosses that you can now find in the gyms. Here is the overview from April 29, 2020, with the new opponents at levels T1 to T5.

Below we show you all the raid bosses that you can currently fight in Pokémon GO. In the legendary raids, Darkrai is present for one week.

Which Pokémon are worth it? It’s advisable to complete some raids at level 1 with Praktibalk. Its evolution, Meistagrif, is among the strongest Pokémon in Pokémon GO. You should also consider Sichlor, as its evolution, Scizor, is one of the strongest bug Pokémon the game has to offer. Machoke and Togetic are interesting fighters that you should consider.
You currently need fighting, bug, and fairy Pokémon as the strongest counters against Darkrai, the current legendary T5 boss.
What’s special? The raid boss “Machoke” was previously found as a T3 raid. A trainer filmed how he defeated Machoke with just a bunch of birds.
Now it has suddenly been moved up a difficulty level. You should take note of this if you were able to beat Machoke fairly easily before.
