The second part of the Halloween event 2022 in Pokémon GO is starting. We will show you what is changing in the game. Spawns, raids, bonuses, shinies, and costumes.
When does it start? Part 2 of the Halloween 2022 event in Pokémon GO begins on October 27 at 10:00 AM German time.
When does it end? The event is active until November 1 (Tuesday) at 10:00 AM German time.

New Pokémon with costumes
Which ones are there? Five Pokémon are celebrating their release in the second part of the Halloween event. These are:
- Vulpix* with Halloween costume
- Vulnona with Halloween costume
- Gengar* with Halloween costume (Only found in raids)
- Irrbis with Halloween costume
- Pumpdjinn with Halloween costume
Candy bonuses
Bonuses: The bonuses from part 1 remain in effect. These are:
- Double candy for catching Pokémon
- Double candy for hatching Pokémon
- Double candy for sending Pokémon
- Guaranteed XL candy for walking with your buddy (only for trainers from level 31)
Time-limited research
These are available: Since the start of part 1 of the event, there have been two optional time-limited researches that you can purchase.
- The time-limited research for €1 brings you many Makabaja rewards
- The time-limited research for €6 brings you additional Halloween tasks and increased bonuses
The tasks of the time-limited researches must be completed by November 1 at 10:00 AM.
Special research and field research
The special research Mystery Masks: For all players, the special research for Halloween 2022 is available for free. In it, you will be rewarded with Makabaja encounters, Stardust, and items. You must have picked up the research by November 1 at 10:00 AM.
Field research: For completing field research tasks for the Halloween event, you will be rewarded with the following Pokémon encounters:

Special attack for Giratina
When does it apply? All Giratina that you catch between October 20 at 10:00 AM and November 1 at 10:00 AM will know the event attack.
This is the attack: The attack is called Shadow Force. It deals 120 damage in trainer battles and 140 damage in gym battles and raids.
Avatar items, music, and decorations
For your character: Since the start of the Halloween event, you can secure a spooky pose. It existed before, but has been revised. Additionally, you can find in the shop:
- Zwirrklop costume
- Zwirrklop turban
- Zubat headband
Music and decorations: Various stops in the game are decorated with pumpkins, and the map itself has slightly adjusted for the spooky mood. If you turn on the music, the Lavender Town music for Pokémon GO plays.
