The Pokémon GO Halloween event 2017 is almost over. Use the last hours to catch Shiny ghosts and collect many candies.
In the last few days, we have been able to catch many spooky ghost Pokémon in Pokémon GO. The reason for the increased appearance of these creepy monsters is the Halloween event. But it only lasts a few more hours. If you want to take advantage of the strong candy bonuses or catch rare Shiny ghosts, you should hurry. Because after the event, the ghosts will appear less often.
Halloween is ending, ghosts will become less
Since October 20, we have been finding more Ghastly, Haunter, Shuppet, Misdreavus, and ghost Pokémon from Generation 3 like Sableye, Banette, and Shuppet in Pokémon GO. The new ghosts from the Hoenn region are even available as rare Shiny variants.
Additionally, there are special candy rewards for catching, hatching, and sending Pokémon. They are simply doubled! And your buddy finds candies twice as fast.
However, the event only runs until tonight (November 2) at 9:00 PM. Whether the new Gen 3 ghosts will not appear in the wild anymore is still unclear. The Gen 3 ghosts will also appear in the wild after the event. In December, the remaining Pokémon from Generation 3 are expected to arrive.
Provided Niantic doesn’t push another one of their event extensions. During previous events, the developers often added a few extra hours so trainers could make the most of the events. This could also be the case with the Halloween event. However, there is no guarantee for this.
Last chance for shop packages
