Halloween 2022 Overview – What happens in the first part of the event?
How long does it last? The first part of the Halloween 2022 event runs from Thursday, October 20 at 10:00 AM to Thursday, October 27 at 10:00 AM. After that, part 2 of the Halloween event begins. Here you can see the content of part 2 of the Halloween event.
The bonuses:
- Double Catch Candy
- Double Transfer Candy
- Double Hatch Candy
- Trainers from Level 31 receive guaranteed XL Candies for walking with their buddy
- Giratina that you catch between October 20 at 10:00 AM and November 1 at 10:00 AM will learn the move Shadow Force
Limited Research and Special Research: There will be a Special Research available for all trainers, which you can pick up between October 20 at 10:00 AM and November 1 at 10:00 AM. In it, you may encounter shiny Galar-Makabaja for the first time with some luck.
Additionally, there are two optional Limited Research tasks. One costs about 1 €, the other costs 6 €. You can buy both tickets or just one. Depending on the ticket, there are different tasks.

The ticket for 1 € rewards you with Makabaja and Galar-Makabaja. The ticket for 6 € rewards you with a higher Candy bonus, additional Halloween tasks, and an avatar pose.
