For $4.99 (about €5), you can also purchase a special research. In this, you will receive a Rocket Radar, one premium and one fast TM, and encounters with Pokémon that had a Community Day or Community Day Classic in 2024. These have a special background.
Field Research and PokéStop Showcases: There will also be field research and PokéStop showcases in this event that focus on the event Pokémon.
Making the most of Community Day
To fully enjoy the last Community Day of the year, you should be well prepared. Since there are many Pokémon to catch during the event, you should especially ensure you have enough balls as well as enough space in your Pokémon Box.
There are also some items with which you can get even more out of the event:
- Incense and Lures: Since both items are active for 3 hours and can attract even more Pokémon to you, using both items can be very rewarding.
- Incubators: If you want to hatch some of the monsters from the Community Days 2023 from the 2 km eggs, you will need the appropriate incubators.
- Star Pieces and Lucky Eggs: With these items, you can further increase the stardust and XP from catching, which are already doubled during the event.
- Sananaberries: With Sananaberries, you can also receive more candies for each catch of a Pokémon, in addition to the bonus.
In the new year, there will again be popular Community Days in Pokémon GO, which will always bring you a Pokémon and some strong bonuses. The first date and the associated monster in January 2025 are already set: The Community Day in January brings Felori, but is it worth it?
