Special Attacks for the Community Day in December 2023
You should note: On Community Day, you can also get the special C-Day attacks that you can teach to the evolutions of the event monsters.
You will receive these if you evolve the event monsters into their final form between 9 AM and 9 PM on both days.
Caution: So do not evolve your monsters on Saturday between 9 PM and the following Sunday at 9 AM, even though it falls between the two event days.
Warning for Cryptos: If you have a crypto variant of the event monsters and want to evolve them to obtain one of the special attacks, they must have forgotten Frustration. If they still know Frustration, you will not receive a special attack even through evolution.

How to Make the Best Use of Community Day 2023
Prepare yourselves: During this Community Day, you will find plenty of monsters that you may already have. If you’ve missed certain Community Days, you should focus on the monsters you still lack or from which you still need the shiny.
Otherwise, there are also some strong attackers included that are always worth catching. These include, for example, Kapuno, Lichtel, Praktibalk, Togetic, or Milza. So set yourself goals for the Pokémon you want to catch. You can find a list of the best attackers in Pokémon GO here.
To ensure you can catch without interruptions:
- Have enough Poké Balls with you
- Create space in your storage
Use the filter function in Pokémon GO before the event to sort out which monsters you no longer need. By the way, the maximum space in storage has recently been increased.
What items do I need? The balls are the most important, but with additional items, you can make even better use of the bonuses.
- Incense & Lures: Are active for 3 hours if you ignite them during the event. Tip: You can also do this shortly before the end to allow incense to run past 5 PM.
- Hatching Machines: Ensure that your hatching machine is empty at the start of the event to make use of the halved distance.
- With Star Pieces and Lucky Eggs you can further increase the Stardust or XP bonuses.
- With Sananabeeren you will get double candy again
