What is the event Pokémon? Voltilamm is the Pokémon of the day. It can evolve from Waaty to Ampharos, which also has a Mega Evolution available.

Who benefits from the Community Day with Voltilamm?
For collectors: The most important bonus of the Community Day Classic is the increased Shiny rate for Voltilamm. If you are still missing the shiny variant, you have the chance to catch it during the event.

For fighters: Here it is a bit thinner. In the Battle League, Ampharos is most useful in the Ultra League, but not one of the top Pokémon.
In raids, it has also been surpassed by many other Electric attackers – here you simply have better options among the best attackers in Pokémon GO.
A good argument is also the Mega Evolution, as Mega Ampharos can boost your other Electric and Dragon type monsters. But here, for example, you can achieve more with Mega Voltenso. Nevertheless: Mega Ampharos is quite useful in raids.
How do I prepare for the Community Day Classic in November 2023?
Make space: Do you have limited time to play the Community Day? Then you should use it and not waste time sending Pokémon because your storage is suddenly full. So take care of having space before the event.
What items do I need? With certain items, you can make better use of the Community Day. They include:
- Balls: If you want to catch a lot, you need enough Poké Balls. If you don’t have enough and are not in a place with many stops, it can be difficult to quickly gather the necessary balls.
- Sananabeeren: With these, you get double candy and thus evolve Voltilamm faster.
- Empty incubator: Make sure your incubator has space when the event starts. Only then can you use the fourfold hatch speed. Eggs that are in incubators before the event starts do not receive a bonus.
- Incense and Lock module: If you have these, you should use them depending on how you play. Use the incense if you’re moving a lot, or the Lock module if you stay in one place. Both will last for three hours during the event.
Which Mega Pokémon should I develop? If you want extra candy for Voltilamm, you can develop a Mega Electric Pokémon that is active during the Community Day. Options are:
