In Pokémon GO you have the special research “All in one … No. 151” to have the chance at Shiny Mew. We show you all the known steps so far.
This is what it’s about: Participants of the Kanto Tour can unlock the special research “All in one … No. 151” by completing the questline about Shiny Ditto .
The new questline includes some challenging tasks that among other things guarantee an encounter with Shiny Mew. So far, not all steps are known. However, we will show you the tasks that are known.
Update from July 6, 2023: For the 7th anniversary, there is a new version of the masterpiece research with Shiny Mew. The rewards change slightly.
Special research “All in one … No. 151” – Steps
In total, there are 4 levels in the special research. The tasks are quite tricky and take a lot of time.
So far, 2 of the 4 levels are known. All other tasks will take a while as a quest at level 2/4 takes at least 30 days.

What you need to know here: This quest lasts at least 30 days. You need to catch at least one Pokémon on each of the 30 consecutive days. If you forget to do it on one day, you will be reset and have to start the quest over again.

Level reward: Encounter with Shiny Mew, a Star Piece, and a Lucky Egg
What you need to know here: After completing these tasks, you will receive the encounter with Mew. The mysterious Pokémon is guaranteed to be Shiny.

Why always the 151? This is because Mew is the 151st Pokémon in the Kanto Dex, and this region has a total of 151 Pokémon. That’s why the number is placed in the focus of the special research.
Is there something for players without tickets? Those who did not purchase a ticket for the Kanto Tour also do not have access to the special research for Shiny Mew.
However, it is quite possible that players without tickets will receive their own research with Shiny Mew a little later. However, this has not yet been confirmed.
