With the GO Nature Zone, Pokémon GO gets its third major annual event. And it brings along many interesting contents.
What kind of event is it? The global part of the Nature Zone is a new event, which, alongside the GO Fest and the GO Tour, represents the third major event running over an entire weekend.
When is the GO Nature Zone taking place? The event will take place for the first time on November 23 and 24, 2024, each day from 10:00 AM to 6:15 PM.
What are the highlights? In addition to the return of 2 legendary Pokémon, there will be a new type of monsters: the powerful Pokémon. Also included are the new Safari Ball, the debut of Riffex along with its Dynax and Gigadynamax forms, as well as other interesting Pokémon and contents.
As with the other 2 major events, you will also have the opportunity to purchase a ticket in the Wild Area and thus receive even more contents. All differences with and without a ticket.
All strong Pokémon of the GO Nature Zone
What kind of new Pokémon is there? The event will introduce so-called “powerful Pokémon.” These are monsters that have a higher chance of having good IV values and a higher chance of appearing as XL or XXL specimens. However, the capture chance for these monsters is lower.

Legendary Pokémon for the GO Nature Zone – Protos and Ancient Forms
Which legendary Pokémon are returning? If you missed the legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia in their ancient forms during the GO Tour 2024, you can rejoice about this event. Here you will have another opportunity to obtain the two Pokémon.
You can find the two monsters in 5*-Raids. With a bit of luck, you might also catch specimens that master the Adventure Effects Time Noise and Space Strike.
Additionally, two of the most powerful Pokémon in the entire game will return: Proto-Groudon and Proto-Kyogre. You will also encounter these Pokémon in raids.
Riffex as the star of the Dynamax feature for the GO Nature Zone
Which Pokémon are in Dyna battles? In the Dyna battles, you can encounter Riffex in its High and Low forms during the event. With a bit of luck, you can also find both variants of the Pokémon in their shiny form. You can already encounter Toxel in the “On to Adventure” event, the baby variant of Riffex.
Gigadynamax Riffex: The Gigadynamax form of Riffex will also be present at the event. This one is significantly stronger but will also be much harder to defeat and capture.

Additional contents of the event
What new Pokéball is there? During the event, you can look forward to a new Pokéball. This is known as the GO Safari Ball. It will have an increased capture chance.
GO Safari Balls that you do not use will disappear from your inventory at 6:15 PM on both event days.
What other bonuses are there in the event? For all trainers, the following bonuses will be available during the event:
- Incense lasts for 2 hours
- Field research corresponding to the habitats
- Chance Pokémon from 4*- and 5*-Raids have a special background
- One snapshot surprise encounter per day
Exclusive moves: If you catch or evolve the following Pokémon during the event in the wild, they will receive the respective exclusive moves.

Avatar Items: Starting from November 15, 2024, you can get a t-shirt matching the event in the in-game shop.
Contents for ticket holders
The following contents are only available for trainers who purchase the ticket for the event. You can buy it in the game for €14.99. Additionally, there is currently an option in the Pokémon GO webstore for €12.75 to purchase a Hyper Ticket Box with the ticket, an incubator, and a Dyna particle bag.
Special Research: Ticket holders will receive special research where they need to choose between electric or poison Pokémon.
Bonuses: Additionally, ticket holders will have the following extra bonuses:
