A mysterious tweet from Pokémon GO is now making many players hope for shiny Crypto-Pokémon. We tell you what was shown.
What was shown? The tweet from the official Twitter account of Pokémon GO is much more an image puzzle. A black circle and stars are shown.
Many players are sure: This is about Shiny Crypto-Pokémon, which currently do not exist. Niantic has not confirmed this yet.
What’s behind the mysterious tweet
How realistic are Shinys: After the initial hype surrounding Team Rocket has subsided, shiny Cryptos are definitely conceivable. Players often complain about how useless the Cryptos are. Zubat, Rattfratz, and Schiggy can do nothing.
Shinys would change the situation. There would at least be another incentive for a battle.
What do other theories say? Other players suspect that the post is an announcement for Darkrai. It is, after all, a Dark-type Pokémon and would fit with the black circles in the tweet.
Others say that it hints at Shiny Rayquaza. After all, the shiny form does not exist yet, and the form is black. So it could fit, especially since a new raid boss will appear on July 31.
Other players relate the post to the lunar phases. On August 1, there is a new moon, which is sometimes also called “Dark Moon”. A fitting event would be conceivable.
When will we know more? Normally, Niantic resolves such mysterious tweets quite quickly. So we can expect more information in the coming days.
What do you think? What could be behind the image puzzle from Twitter?
