The last Dyna Raid Day of the year 2025 has been announced in Pokémon GO. A monster that you could already obtain is celebrating its return.
What kind of event is this? A Dyna Raid Day is an event that lasts only 3 hours. During this time, you can challenge the featured monster in a variety of power sources. Additionally, these renew more frequently and you will receive bonuses to acquire Dyna particles more easily.
On Sunday, December 14, 2025, the last Dyna Raid Day of the year will take place from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. Instead of a new monster, there will be the return of a Gigantamax monster that you could obtain in the past.

Which monster is featured in the event? Gigantamax Snorlax will make its comeback. You could already defeat and catch the Pokémon in April of this year during a Dyna Raid Day. In this event, you can also obtain the monster as shiny, if you are lucky.
What bonuses are there in the event? As usual, there are some bonuses during the Raid Day, which will be active during the event and partially also beforehand. During the event, you can look forward to the following bonuses:
- The collection limit for Dyna particles is increased to 1,600 particles
- Power sources renew more frequently
- At all power sources, you will find Gigantamax battles with Snorlax
- 8 times the amount of Dyna particles from power sources
- 2 additional special trades
- The remote raid limit is increased to 20 (from December 14, 2025 at 2:00 AM to December 15, 2025 at 5:00 AM)
Additionally, on December 14, 2025, from 12:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the following bonuses will be active:
- Double the amount of Dyna particles while walking
- 1/4 of the usual walking distance for Dyna particles
More content of the event: On December 8, 2025, at 6:00 AM, you can also pick up a free, limited research task. Besides candies and Dyna particles, you can also receive a Dynamax Machop as a reward.
For $4.99 (approximately €5.49), you can also buy a ticket. If you complete the tasks of the corresponding research, you will receive a Dyna Mushroom and 25,000 experience points. Within the event, you will also get double the amount of XP for Dyna battles and an increased limit for Dyna particles of 5,600.
What does the community say? While reactions to the announcement vary within the community, there are some trainers who are looking forward less to the monster itself, but rather to the stardust that you can earn here.
A successful battle against a Gigantamax monster rewards you with 25,000 stardust regularly. If you use a stardust piece, you can even increase the amount to 37,500. However, keep in mind that Gigantamax battles are greater challenges that require many trainers with decent monsters.
Some comments from the community include:
- “Good, I’m low on stardust,” writes 1baby2cats on Reddit
- “Stardust!”, is the short comment from tab_111 on Reddit
- “I already have the shiny version, so it’s time to collect some stardust,” comments DarkDuo on Reddit
- “Useless Pokémon, but the stardust is really good,” says Neracca on Reddit
