Pokémon GO gets a new raid boss this week, trainers are excited to finally complete years-old research

Which Pokémon is it? The Pokémon in question is Landorus, which is returning as a raid boss. The legendary Pokémon with the types Flying and Ground will be available in its Therian form from Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM until the following Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 10:00 AM. You will be able to battle and catch it in 5*-raids.

It replaces Tornadus, which is currently still available in raids. If you have not yet completed the somewhat older special research Legendary Season, this would be your opportunity to successfully complete the research.

Catch Tornadus now if you are still working on the special research

Why should you catch Tornadus quickly now? In the mentioned special research Legendary Season, you will need to take snapshots of the three Pokémon Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus, among other tasks. Many trainers have not yet completed this research to date. If you find yourself in the same situation, you should hurry and catch these Pokémon now.

What is Landorus good for? Landorus (Therian form) is one of the best Ground-type attackers. If you want to strengthen your raid team for this type, this could be a good opportunity for you.

Landorus in its Therian form is also a solid Pokémon for the battle league. It can score points in the Master League and be put to use there.

Will Landorus be available as a Shiny? Shiny hunters can also rejoice. Landorus will also be available in its Therian form as a Shiny variant.
