Pokémon GO: Get Tortunator – Everything about Counters, Shiny, and Location

In Pokémon GO you can now find and catch Tortunator. Even its shiny version is available. We will show you everything you need to know about the new Pokémon.

What kind of Pokémon is this? Tortunator is from the seventh generation of games and belongs to the Fire and Dragon types. It has no evolution. You can find it since June 29 in Pokémon GO.

Finding and Catching Tortunator

Where can you find Tortunator? Currently, you can find the Pokémon in level 3 raids. You can fight and catch it alone or with a few trainers.

Another way to find Tortunator is through field research. Specifically, the research “Win 3 raids,” which you need to pick up during the Dark Flames event, will lead you to an encounter with Tortunator.

Shiny Tortunator: Immediately at the release of the Pokémon, its shiny version is also available for you. If you are lucky, you might catch a shiny. In the following graphic, we show you the comparison between the normal and shiny version of Tortunator.
