In Pokémon GO, the Galar forms of 3 Pokémon might soon be available. The last missing files have now been added, so nothing stands in the way of a release.
Update November 16: The anticipated event occurs one day later than expected. Following the Community Day, a Raid Hour will take place today from 14:00 to 15:00, where you can get Galarian Sludge.
These are the Galar forms: These forms come from Generation 8 and are first introduced to the Pokémon universe with Pokémon Sword and Shield. The forms can be compared to Alolan Pokémon as they simply represent already known Pokémon in different forms.
In Pokémon GO, the following forms have been found:
- Galarian Sludge
- Zigzagoon
- Obstagoon
These 3 forms might be found in Pokémon GO tomorrow, as Pokémon Sword and Shield will also be released.
Galar forms coming soon to Pokémon GO?
This has been found: A few weeks ago, dataminers found the first hints about the Galar forms. Now all the details needed for a release are available. Niantic likes to keep some details hidden so that not everything about the Pokémon can be discovered right away.
Now Niantic can simply turn on the switch and make the Galarian Pokémon spawn.
Would a release fit now? Currently, it is the perfect time to start a new event around the Galar forms. Pokémon Sword and Shield will be released tomorrow, November 15.
It is quite conceivable that Niantic will celebrate this release as well. After all, they did it back then with the two Let’s GO games.
Additionally, it’s fitting that Niantic has only announced the next event for Tuesday evening. The event about Team GO Rocket ends this evening. Thus, another event could be announced in the meantime.
Will Pokémon Sword and Shield bring even more to Pokémon GO? No further connections are currently known. You will not be able to link the games with Pokémon GO, unlike what the Let’s GO games offered.
