Thanks to a bug, a player’s Lucario transformed into the anime character Naruto in Pokémon GO. The Pokémon kept running non-stop just like “a ninja”.
This is the bug: On reddit, the player “AlickThePappa” reports this error that his girlfriend noticed on her account.
It seemed that her Lucario was running almost continuously and strongly resembled Naruto, who has a very unique way of running that has been frequently used as a meme on the internet. It looks like this:

However, the Lucario in the clip is not standing still. Instead, it keeps running and apparently cannot be stopped.
Is this really a bug? The fact that the Lucario runs in the buddy menu is indeed just a funny bug. However, it also has this unique running style when it runs alongside you on the map. If you happen to speed up a bit, it will chase you in Naruto style. The same goes for Riolu. It has the same running style.
You can actually experience the Naruto running style even without a bug. However, not for as long and with a direct overhead view.
What else can the buddy feature do? Your buddy can not only walk alongside you with the new feature but can also collect gifts and souvenirs for you.
