The first trainer has reached the maximum level in Pokémon GO. Now he is having his account deleted by Niantic.
The race for first place in Pokémon GO has been ongoing for several days among players around the world. Quickly reaching the maximum level is the goal of many players, just like in other MMOs. A player recently posted a screenshot on Reddit with the title “I just hit level 40 – As the first player in the world!”. However, in the comments, he admitted to having used cheats.
He made 280,000 experience points per hour
To level up in Pokémon GO, you need more experience points for each higher level. At level 6, that’s 6000 experience points, and at level 15, it’s already 20,000 experience points. To level up from level 39 to level 40, you need 5 million experience points! Overall, to go from level 1 to level 40, a total of 20 million experience points is needed. Every time you reach a new level, you receive rewards that are meant to assist you on your adventures.

After the player _problemz published his Reddit post , he immediately admitted in the comments that he had “obviously” used a bot for this success. He himself would not play the game but wanted to find out how far he could progress with the given “means” in the game. Among other things, he used 131 eggs to get the required experience points. Of course, this also led to curious inquiries from other players who wanted to know which bot he used and if he would sell his account.
However, he did not want to share more detailed information about the bot program or what tactics he used. He also does not want to sell the account – he has already sent a deletion request for the account to Niantic.

He did not want to take the fun away from other players
In his explanation in the comments, _problemz clearly emphasized that he did not engage in gym battles and would not do so until the account was deleted. His goal was never to take the fun away from other players and kick them out of a gym with unfair means.
